Silverton, Colorado is on the verge of an exciting new era in hospitality. We are thrilled to share an update about our project, located on Silverton's Main Street, that is designed to honor the town’s deep history while looking ahead to its future.

This forthcoming boutique hotel draws inspiration from Silverton’s mining and railroad roots, weaving those stories into every level of the user experience: from sustainable building materials reminiscent of historic timber structures to design details that evolve with the seasons and invite the outdoors in. Our goal is not only to create a welcoming space for visitors but also to offer meaningful new amenities for Silverton locals and the broader community.

- Sustainability & Innovation: We’re building with mass timber and employing innovative, environmentally responsible methods conceived to ideally suit Silverton’s unique mountain climate.
- Flexible Space for Year-Round Life: The design creates a true “base camp" for outdoor adventurers, remote workers, and those seeking creative or cultural events, experiences and reset at any time of year.
- Community at the Center: Envisioned as a home for accessible dining, available event spaces, and a robust schedule of year-round happenings, programming is currently being planned to ensure the hotel supports Silverton’s vitality for local residents and visiting guests alike.
Where Things Stand
After securing key local approvals and completing major design milestones, the project is moving towards construction. The journey has been shaped by feedback from the community and a commitment to ensuring Silverton’s character endures, while meeting needs for high-quality accommodations, local workforce housing, and inclusive gathering spaces.

Looking Ahead
The project is advancing on three important fronts.
- First, our design team is preparing for the upcoming submittal of plans for a hotel building permit, followed by detailed construction documentation in collaboration with the selected builder.
- Second, we are currently in the process of engaging with experienced local and regional builders who bring the right skills, insights, and passion for our unique project in Silverton to estimate construction costs, with a formal bid process to be opened and announced in the near future.
- And third, fundraising efforts for the overall development are underway. The project encompasses our new construction boutique hotel as an anchor alongside workforce housing and planned future commercial amenities.
